Biography
Jeannie is currently a member of the Global Healthcare Practices Group at Markel Corporation. She manages cases involving doctors, hospitals, home health services, nursing homes, correctional healthcare, and other medical providers. She also serves in underwriting support and marketing support functions at Markel.
Prior to her time at Markel, she served in roles handling large loss Commercial General Liability, Commercial Auto, and Commercial Field Property claims. She also spent a couple of years handling medical malpractice claims, and thus brings prior experience in medical claims to Markel.
She holds her BBA in Finance from Baylor University and obtained her Juris Doctorate from Texas A&M School of Law at Wesleyan. She is licensed to practice law in Texas and also holds her insurance license in 28 states. She also has her Charter Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) and AIC (Associate in Claims) designations.
