Biography
Experience
Melissa is the Assistant Vice President of Claims overseeing Sedgwick’s Aurora & Oakbrook, Illinois, field operations for both workers’ compensation and liability claims.
Melissa joined Sedgwick in 2006 in the Long Beach, California office. Since then, Melissa has held increasingly responsible leadership roles within the organization. She has helped secure the renewals of key national and local clients as well as new business.
Melissa was an elected executive board member for the Greater St. Louis Claims Association from 2017 to 2019. As a member of and a certified instructor for the Claims Litigation Management (CLM) organization and was a panelist at the 2018 and 2019 National CLM & Business Insurance Workers Compensation conferences in Chicago. She spoke on employer return-to-work issues and conditional payment management.

Melissa received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Chapman University. She holds an Associate in Risk Management designation.
