Biography
Rebecca Holshouser works as a Senior Claims Analyst at Allied World Assurance Company in their medical malpractice claims department. Prior to working in the insurance industry, Rebecca worked for nine years as an attorney in private practice in greater Hartford, Connecticut, primarily as a criminal defense litigator. She obtained her B.A. in Political Science and French (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Connecticut at Storrs - Honors Program. Rebecca earned her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law with a concentration in civil advocacy and dispute resolution. She has served as chairperson of the board of directors of InterCommunity, Inc., a community health care agency in East Hartford, CT, focusing on treating mental health and addiction. Rebecca also served as chairperson of the board of directors of My Sisters’ Place, Inc., a nonprofit agency working to end homelessness in greater Hartford, CT.”
