Biography

Pauline Will is a founding partner of Bennett Schechter Arcuri & Will LLP and focuses her practice on complex tort litigation including trucking and transportation law, toxic torts, products liability and insurance defense litigation.

Ms. Will started her career as a prosecutor with the Erie County District Attorney’s Office. She entered private practice in 2002 where she began representing insured and self-insured companies as well as insurance carriers and their policy holders in state and federal courts. She has taken cases to jury verdict, and has extensive experience representing clients in alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Will handles catastrophic and wrongful death matters from their investigation through all stages of litigation. Ms. Will has spoken on a variety of topics on the transportation and insurance industries and currently chairs the TIDA Marketing and Engagement Committee for the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA).

In the area of toxic torts, Ms. Will has extensive experience with the defense of lead paint litigation throughout New York State. She presented a national update on the current state of lead paint litigation in 2011. Ms. Will spoke on the topic of Lead Paint Litigation and Emerging Toxic Torts at the US Casualty School in London, England in 2011. She also has experience defending asbestos and mesothelioma litigation.
