Biography
Prior to joining Arthur J. Gallagher as a Litigation Specialist, Matt was in private practice as lawyer for 7 years. During that time Matt gained extensive courtroom experience defending numerous insurance companies and their insureds against lawsuits. Matt tried 9 cases to a final judgment, and filed several appeals before the Alabama Supreme Court and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. This formational experience taught Matt how to aggressively defend lawsuits while taking into account the overall goals and objectives of the insurance companies and their insureds. Matt brings this holistic approach to Arthur J. Gallagher to achieve the best possible outcome for our insureds. Matt is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College and the Cumberland School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Alabama, and is continually learning how to better serve our insureds.
