Biography
Stuart Mauney is a partner with the Gallivan White & Boyd law firm in Greenville, SC. He is chair of the firm's Tort & Personal Injury/Property Damage Team in which he manages a staff of lawyers and legal assistants who provide legal and risk management services to insurers, self insureds, and third party administrators.
Stuart devotes his practice to the defense of serious personal injury and wrongful death cases, including claims arising out of the trucking and healthcare industries. In particular, Stuart is a member of the firm's Professional Negligence Team in which he serves as trial counsel for nursing homes and assisted living facilities. He is also a member of the GWB Trucking Team and provides emergency response services for catastrophic accidents.
Stuart is also a Certified Mediator and provides mediation and other ADR services, working with parties and their counsel as an alternative to litigation and trial.
