Biography

Jack Culotta, a native of New Orleans, is a partner at Bernard, Cassisa, Elliott & Davis who received his Bachelor of Science degree at Louisiana State University in 1980 and his J.D. degree from Loyola University in 1985.  He practices in a wide-range of legal fields including representation of insurance clients, manufacturers, and self-insured interests.  He has also been involved in general business and commercial litigation as well as the representation of parties involved in cases with allegations of violations of unfair trade practices, bad faith and fraud statutes and cases involving violations of professional standards of care by various healthcare providers.  His experience as a litigator also includes the representation of parties in intellectual property disputes and parties in several large class action cases.  He was recently appointed to the Insurers’ Steering Committee on Chinese Drywall cases for national MDL cases and has been a board member of the Federal Bar Association since 2007.  Mr. Culotta has tried several jury and non-jury cases in both State and Federal courts and has argued in various appellate courts, as well as the Louisiana Supreme Court in October, 2010.

Mr. Culotta maintains a Martindale-Hubbell rating of “AV” indicating an attorney who has reached the height of professional excellence, has practiced law for many years, and is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity.
