Biography
John holds an "AV Pre-eminent" rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is experienced in all aspects of insurance law--including bad faith, coverage, tort defense--and he has tried many jury trials in the state and federal courts of Montana since 1986. He also has handled many appeals before both the Montana Supreme Court and the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. John regularly presents insurance law seminars to adjusters and companies around the Western U.S, and he was a regional and contributing editor to three editions of DRI's Compendium of Bad Faith Laws. Over the past decade, John has been working much more as a mediator, working with parties to resolve their disputes pre-trial.
