Graebel Companies is the largest wholly owned relocation company in the world with their family led third-party relocation and move management companies, van line, forwarding operation, nationwide U.S. moving and storage centers, as well as a workplace services divisions. s..s.ssss
Given this unique structure in their industry, Graebel has consistently won industry awards for their Risk & Safety programs and results, most recently winning the 2009 American Moving & Storage Association Fleet Safety Initiative Award.
Mr. Payne oversees many areas of Risk for Graebel, including the following:
Loss Control Driver Qualification Safety Insurance Claims Audit Litigation Management
Graebel self-administer claims and utilizes a strategy of heavy and early involvement in claims and litigation management, including the use of Empathic claims handling ADR techniques.
Having control of both pre and post loss functions has resulted in over a decade of continual declines in both the frequency and severity of claims for Graebel.
Mr. Payne is also active in RIMS, TIDA and AMSA and previously held positions in the legal department for the Colorado Department of Labor.
