Biography
Janet been with Michaels for four years as the Risk & Claim Manager, has three team members, and oversees workers’ compensation and property claims for the largest craft and art retail stores in the US and Canada. She also sits on the Emergency Response Team that assist management with issues from pandemics, weather issues and other concerns. Janet has 32 years of risk experience and was the former Director of Risk for Worldwide Flight Services, an international airline ground handler, plus Risk responsibilities in the hospital and restaurant/hospitality industry. Janet attended Dallas Baptist University, spends most of her free time in the New Mexico mountains and enjoying her grandchildren.
