Biography
Dr. Angela is a strategic insurance leader with nearly two decades of experience managing complex personal lines and general liability claims, including nationwide litigated and non-litigated GLBI, GLPD, Construction Defect, Auto, Homeowners, and Commercial General Liability. In her role as Senior Claims Manager for AFICS’s Specialty Liability Unit, she directs multi-jurisdictional operations, litigation strategy, and governance initiatives that enhance performance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
With extensive strategic insight and operational expertise, Dr. Angela focuses on developing leaders, fostering collaboration, and advancing best practices in claims handling and fraud prevention. She also serves as a member of the CLM Insurance Fraud Committee.
Dr. Angela holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership with a specialization in Criminal Justice, a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and a B.A. in Criminal Justice. She is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and holds professional designations including SCLA, ACP, and CLMP.
