Biography
Scott Walker is the Vice President of Claims for Mendota Insurance Company. In the role, Scott is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives resulting in improved claim outcomes for Mendota's policyholders. Scott has held several claims leadership roles in his 24 years of industry experience, including 9 years as Vice President of Claims at First Acceptance Corp. As a change leader, Scott has led organizational technology-related initiatives involving Litigation, Material Damage, SIU, First Notice of Loss and other areas in claims. He has extensive experience managing complex litigation.
Scott received his undergraduate degree from Huntingdon College, Montgomery, Alabama; and his MBA from the Universtiy of Alabama, Birmingham, Birmingham, Alabama. He currently holds the CPCU and AIM designations.
Scott lives in Brentwood, Tennessee with his wife Shannon and their children. He is actively involved in church and local missions work.
