Biography
My name is Tamika White and I was a Litigation Resolution Manager for Gallagher Bassett in Duluth, GA. I have been in claims since 1999. My career began at Zurich Insurance Company in the mail room in Florida while attending college where I was majoring in Accounting. One of my supervisors at Zurich observed me going in a different direction from accounting, and provided an opportunity for me to go into claim adjusting. This turned out to be the best choice for me because I immediately enjoyed learning how to investigate and resolve Auto Liability, Worker’s Compensation, Property and GL Bodily Injury Claims.
I continued my career by moving into non-standard claim handling at Workmen’s Auto Company, and then further at York Claims Services, where I spent six years handling Auto & Bodily Injury claims on rental cars. From there I worked at Morgan & Morgan Law Offices as a case manager. This job was not for me, as I enjoyed handling claims much more than the responsibilities of working on “the other side”.
After Morgan and Morgan I moved to Georgia, and was subsequently hired January 2008 by GAB, now Gallagher. I am now back at York Risk Services Group as a Senior Casualty Adjuster.
