Impeccable academic and professional credentials, decades of successful trial results, and unshakeable legal instincts: this is the formidable combination of experience and skills that distinguish founding partner Tony Rupp as a civil trial attorney. With experience that includes highly successful outcomes in scores of jury trials and appeals, Tony represents clients across New York State in a variety of cases involving construction and labor law matters, insurance coverage and defense, contracts, land conservation, and real-property law and litigation. With thorough preparation and keen attention to detail as his hallmarks, Tony regularly handles and successfully tries complex, high-value commercial cases that were referred or transferred to him by attorneys outside his own firm.

A frequent public speaker and lecturer, Tony also is a skilled writer and experienced appellate litigator who regularly handles appeals before intermediate State and Federal appellate courts as well as the New York Court of Appeals. Among the many dozens of successful appellate decisions in which he has been involved are several oft-cited cases that are recognized as having helped to develop the law in his primary practice areas. With nearly 25 years of litigation experience to his name, Tony is a respected mentor to the firm’s younger associates and partners. And they’re not the only ones impressed by his unflagging knowledge and focus on serving our clients—he’s also been recognized with a host of industry honors.
