Biography
Melissa Roy, RN BBA, CCM, CAWC
Missy, manager of Nurse Case Management, Pharmacy and Early Detection of Opioids programs for Accident Fund Insurance Company of America, has more than 27 years of experience as a registered nurse. Her professional background prior to Accident Fund includes 12 years as director of Nursing for a psychiatric/substance abuse hospital, working with both adolescents and adults, as well as several years for the State of Michigan as a utilization review nurse and case manager. For more than 10 years now, she has been part of the team at Accident Fund, focused on workers’ compensation. Missy has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Davenport University and holds several industry designations, including Certified Case Management (CCM) and Certified Authority on Worker’s Compensation (CAWC) certifications.
