Biography
Rajiv Das, MD, MPH is currently Medical Director for Safeway Inc., Vons and Albertsons Stores nationwide covering over 300 facilities and over 90,000 employees. In this role Dr. Das manages an MPN 2200 medical providers, overseeing treatment and utilization review issues. He has provided direct patient care for over 15 years as well as performed utilization review for over 10 years. He has also served as a QME. He also serves as Medical Director for Benioff UCSF Children’s Hospital Oakland Employee Health Services. He is Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. Trained at University of Texas Health Sciences Center, San Antonio and UCSF.
