Biography
Katy Schraven joined The Hanover Insurance Group Subrogation Department in 2003 and currently handles recovery opportunities for Hanover Marine and Hanover Specialty Insurance subsidiaries. Katy’s caseload includes builder's risk construction, cargo, contract equipment and energy sector matters. Katy serves as the department technical lead wherein she provides peers and internal customers with guidance and training on legal principals, forensic investigation methodology and litigation management topics.
Before joining the Hanover Subrogation Department, Katy worked for Allmerica Financial as a Business Analyst where she enjoyed supporting the technology needs of the nationwide life & annuity sales force. Katy received a Bachelor of Science from Boston College. Katy has the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter CPCU, Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional CSRP and Senior Claims Law Associate SCLA designations.
