Lisa Tillis

Biography

Lisa Tillis has been consulting for the past several years in various capacities with TPAs, worker's compensation ancilliary and healthcare companies. Lisa held the position of Director of Risk Management for 99 Cents Only Stores.  She was previously a National Worker’s Compensation Manager at ABM Industries and a Regional Claims Manager for OneSource before ABM purchased that entity.  At ABM Industries, she was part of the Corporate Risk Management department that directed all internal and external communications and activities for this $3.6 billion corporation with more than 101,000 employees. ABM provides janitorial, parking, security, engineering services and landscaping for thousands of commercial, industrial, institutional and retail facilities in hundreds of cities across the United States, Puerto Rico and British Columbia, Canada. Earlier in her career, Lisa gained her extensive experience in healthcare and worker’s compensation claims adjudication and management, marketing and corporate risk management with various carriers and T.P.A.s. She also worked for hospitals, medical clinics, healthcare insurance carriers and government contracted companies.

Lisa has worked with CIGA as a Claims Supervisor/Consultant handling a unit that encompassed sports and asbestos claims. She is currently handling a unit with a hearing representative, claims examiners, and claims assistants in her capacity as a Claims Supervisor with Springfield Insurance Company.

Lisa was a Trainer at CLM, New Orleans Conference and is an active member of FIRMA. She previously served as President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Diabetes Association, coordinating the Los Angeles ADA walk.  Lisa continues her involvement in community service.
