Biography
Snehal Desai has been fiercely focused on innovation, making critical contributions in diverse technical environments in academia and industry. Since 2014, Snehal has led advanced research at USAA in a number of strategic efforts, including those in cybersecurity and identity management. His current interests include all things blockchain, specially the intersection of Identity with Distributed Ledger Technology and ensuring USAA’s leadership in the RiskBlock Alliance.
Snehal has degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, and holds multiple US and international patents. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Arts & Minds, a Dallas based non-profit providing an inclusive environment for students to engage in the arts and humanities.
