Biography
Eric Marler is the Head of Claims for Counterpart, Inc. He has more than 20 years of experience involving Directors and Officers (D&O) Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Fidelity & Crime, Kidnap & Ransom, Cyber Liability, and School and Educators' Legal Liability. Mr. Marler received his undergraduate and law degrees from The University of Iowa, earning Dean's List honors in both programs. He began his career in private practice representing carriers involving complex coverage matters before transitioning in-house. Prior to joining Counterpart, Mr. Marler held leadership roles at two Fortune 500 insurers.
