Biography
Rachel has over twenty-five years of experience in a vast array of commercial and personal injury litigation and in claims and litigation management. Her areas of expertise include employment law, business, mortgage banking, insurance defense, unfair competition, civil rights law, depositions, strategic negotiation and claims resolution. She is well known for her ability to think outside the box in settlement negotiations and for her deposition and trial skills. Her experience includes serving as General Counsel for Shorewood Capital, a Senior Claims Attorney for Gallagher Bassett, a Vice President/Assistant General Counsel for JPMorgan Chase, a Senior Trial Attorney for the US Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, Employment Litigation Section, an Assistant Attorney General for the DC Office of the Attorney General and as counsel for several medium-sized Dallas law firms. She is both a licensed attorney and a licensed claims adjuster. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling and watching college sports. She is an avid Dallas Stars Hockey fan.
