Biography
Kate is Vice President, Claims General Counsel at Selective Insurance Company of America, managing staff counsel and litigation management operations. She moved into litigation management after an active career in private practice where she specialized in defense of carriers, municipalities and large self-insured clients. Her day to day activities involve a heavy focus on litigation strategies, workflow management, operational efficiency and data integrity. She has led several large initiatives to build and roll out new technological solutions to improve case and litigation management, and works to say fresh on available tools that legal professionals can use to work as efficiently as possible.
