Biography
Mark joined XL Reinsurance America, now part of AXA XL, a division of AXA, in September 2005 following 14 years representing Lloyd’s Syndicates and London Market Companies in insurance and reinsurance matters, including coverage, dispute resolution, direct claim handling and claim portfolio evaluation. At AXA XL, Mark managed P&C assumed and program business in the US and Canada in various lines including standard casualty, professional, property and crop. Mark was appointed Head of Reinsurance Claims for North America on 2017 and assumed management of Latin America in 2020. Mark has a BA cum laude from New York University and a JD from Georgetown University Law Center. Mark is currently Chair of the Claims Committee for the Reinsurance Association of America (RAA) and has been a frequent speaker at RAA Education conferences, including Re Basics and Re Claims. Mark is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York, and holds the ARe and RPLU designations.
