Michelle Greene

Biography

Michelle Greene is the Director of the Workers’ Compensation Department at North American Risk Services, enhancing the development of a status quo-challenging team. Understanding the components of human nature in the claims experience, this team is delivering the best workers’ compensation philosophy to injured workers, clients, and the industry.

For over two decades, Michelle has worked energetically to develop, maintain, and manage a company’s workers’ compensation program. Michelle brings to the table vast experience with the Helmsman Group, claims and loss control experience with large accounts at Liberty Mutual, and a wide variety of insurance responsibilities as the business lead for Pekin Insurance. She held an active role on the Commercial Market Strategic Committee and Risk Management Working Group for Pekin Insurance Company and the development of Pekin Select Insurance Company.

During her long and successful career, Michelle has proven to be a catalyst for change by being instrumental in dealing with multi-jurisdictional work comp claims handling with small and large accounts, workflow administration, staffing, organizational restructuring, customer experience, managing change, and servant leadership. Michelle has also developed and overseen nurse triage programs, nurse advocacy, training programs related to workers’ compensation laws, policies, return to work, loss control, and benefits.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration minor in Psychology and a master's degree in Business Administration with applied leadership. Her core beliefs include compassion, humility, and service. Believing success is driven by collaboration, companies must share their philosophy when forming business partnerships.
