Donna Friis

Biography

Ms. Friis is a Construction Practice Leader with Envista Forensics, LLC. She has over 25 years of structural engineering design, design-build, project management, forensic engineering, and construction -defect experience. Her extensive analysis and design experience combined with her educational background enable her to analyze a wide variety of structural problems and failures.
 
In addition, Ms. Friis has comprehensive knowledge of technical design standards for the most commonly used building materials, construction processes, as well as past and current building codes.  She is a member of the ASCE 7 Main Committee and the ASCE 7 Wind Loads Subcommittee. She is a recipient of the Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) President's Award, an SEI Fellow, an ASCE Fellow and a past member of the SEI Board of Governors.
