Dr. Nicholas Benetatos

Biography

Nicholas Benetatos is a Manager in the Biomedical Engineering Practice at Exponent.  He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in medical devices, combination products, and global regulatory affairs to clients in the medical device/pharmaceutical sectors and has provided technical and regulatory expertise for product liability litigation.
Prior to joining Exponent, Nicholas led tactical and strategic regulatory affairs for large (Fortune 100) global business segments in both med dev and pharma and spent 7 years at the FDA Center for Devices and Radiological Health.  His work at the FDA focused on regulatory science, regulatory review, compliance, and science policy. His experience has crossed a diverse range of disease states and technologies including cardiovascular, interventional cardiology,  orthopedics, women’s health, diabetes, digital health, and respiratory therapies.
