Biography
Mary Prugh is a 25 year insurance veteran with a background in claims, risk transference and safety. Mary started her career with Safeco Insurance handling liability claims, but transitioned to handling professional liability exposures when she joined Coregis.
At Coregis, Mary handled and then supervised governmental errors & omissions claims, including those in the area of public entity, educator legal, and police professional. While in the capacity of Claims Director at Fireman’s Fund Insurance, she also directed claims management associated with nationwide for-profit and not-for-profit D&O, various E&O exposures, and employment practices coverage. Prior to coming to AmTrust, Mary was the Advocacy Director at Assurance Agency where she oversaw client service for claims management and risk transference.
Mary joined AmTrust as a Claims Manager for the Specialty Risk Division and will have primary responsibility for Third Party Administrator oversight for the government exposure programs. Mary holds her CPCU, AIC, ARM, and SCLA.
