Biography
Joshua K. Boggs is Associate Litigation Counsel for West Virginia University Health System, which is comprised of twelve system hospitals; six managed hospitals; and three affiliate hospitals. It is the largest healthcare provider and the largest private employer in West Virginia. WVU Health System is one of the few health systems in the United States that handles the majority of its litigation in house rather than relying on outside counsel. Accordingly, Joshua focuses his litigation practice on the defense of medical malpractice and other healthcare related claims. He is admitted to practice law in both West Virginia and Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is admitted to practice
in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of West Virginia; the U.S. District Court, Northern District of West Virginia; and the U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania. Joshua’s research interests include healthcare law, litigation management, and the use of technology in litigation.
