Biography
Mr. Osty is a seasoned attorney, entrepreneur and executive with expertise in product liability, technology and international legal and business transactions.
He is the Director of Product Liability Claims for Sedgwick’s Asia Pacific Client Group. Mr. Osty’s legal background is in commercial and financial transactions having spent over 28 years as a lawyer and advisor to the manufacturing, technology, service and financial industries. He co-founded a China-based hi-tech software sales and service company that provided real-time data analytics software and service solutions to Asia Pacific-based companies in the power, manufacturing and building management sectors. He also advised North American businesses in the areas of market penetration, product liability, intellectual property protection and operations in China. Mr. Osty has spent over 20 years living and working in China.
Mr. Osty is a graduate of Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana and The John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois. He resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
