Biography
June Bott is the Director of the Materials Science and Engineering technical group and a Senior Materials Engineer who specializes in laboratory and field analysis of a broad range of materials. She holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Bott uses her knowledge of metallurgy, mechanical behavior of materials, and materials characterization in conducting materials failure analysis. Her specialties include failure analysis, materials characterization, metallurgical testing, microstructural evaluation and characterization, personal injury, product safety/liability, fire investigation, electrical arc analysis, and hot particle ignition of wildland fires. She is a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator. Dr. Bott provides technical support, litigation support and expert analyses to law firms, insurance companies and industry.
