Douglas A. Cohen

Senior Consultant, Trial Technology

Douglas Cohen is a senior consultant in trial technology for TrialGraphix/Kroll Ontrack, an international company providing litigation consulting and technology-driven services including electronic discovery, investigations, jury consulting, graphics and presentations to corporations, law firms and government agencies. As a founding partner for TrialGraphix, Mr. Cohen was instrumental in transforming the firm from a provider of graphics for use in the courtroom into a diverse company of litigation technology experts who provide comprehensive consulting services during every phase of litigation. Mr. Cohen also played an integral role in expanding the company’s legal technologies consulting services and capabilities.

In his current consulting role, Mr. Cohen works with law firms and corporate clients to identify appropriate discovery and trial service solutions for national, international and complex litigation. He has been involved with thousands of cases globally, in all areas of law including multiple-party, high-profile, and large-exposure litigation such as asbestos, welding rod, tire tread, and tobacco litigation, among others.

Mr. Cohen is a frequent speaker before bar and legal associations such as The Defense Research Institute, various sections of the American Bar Association, and most of the American Lawyer Top 100 Firms. He has lectured on the use of demonstrative evidence, litigation technologies, and the application of jury research to in-house counsel at Fortune 500 companies and law firms across the country.

Mr. Cohen holds an M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He received a B.S. in communications from the University of Florida.
