Biography
James Chapman is the CEO of ClaimEdge. The company provides a software platform designed specifically for claim professionals to proactively manage litigated claims via direct collaboration with defense counsel, all in one secure digital workspace. It combines artificial intelligence with legal subject matter expertise that enables an end-to-end litigated claim workflow and intelligence solution to resolve claim lawsuits faster, more efficiently and less expensively. The company also provides claims litigation management advisory services.
In his career before founding ClaimEdge, James Chapman was a nationally recognized insurance defense attorney. He is a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (FDCC), an Entrepreneurial Research Fellow of the National Science Foundation, former Rector of the Board of Visitors of Virginia Tech, and taught Federal Courts and Trial Practice at Regent University School of Law. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized for his litigation expertise by Best Lawyers in America since 2007.
