General Background
Mr. Page has been involved in the insurance industry for over thirty five years. Jim has an extensive background working with all aspects of health care self-insurance including administration, team leadership and claim analysis/resolution, auditing and consulting. He has a proven track record in the industry, having led more than 550 professional liability claim audits. He has consulted for over 25 Captives and worked with more than 400 hospitals, carriers, hospital systems, excess reinsurers, RRG’s and physician groups. In addition, Jim is highly recognized in the industry as an expert in third party self-insurance claims administration. He has led audit teams that have reviewed reserves, recommended claim strategies and conceived best practices for over 100,000 high exposure claims as a Divisional VP for 20 years. By the appointment of the Federal Bankruptcy Court, (representing all parties) he directed, investigated the facts and prepared an objective analytical report on exposures in 587 claims related to the largest hospital bankruptcy in New York City history. These findings remained unchallenged throughout the hospital’s emergence from reorganization. Jim also has extensive management experience focusing on strategy and process implementation tailored to improve operational and financial performance and results.
