Biography
East Zone Claim Leader Managing Director William (Bill) Liebler is a senior member of the Marsh Global Claims Practice, and currently serves as the East Zone Claim Leader, USA. Bill’s involvement includes property, casualty, financial, and professional liability claims. His primary responsibilities involve shaping internal claim processes as well as expanding client service offerings, developing, implementing, and communicating custom claims service programs, analyzing loss data and benchmarking, claims management training, and claim review and auditing. All are done with an eye towards reducing clients’ overall cost of risk.
Bill joined Marsh in December of 2003. Prior to joining the firm, he was with a national insurer for 12 years. There he served as Regional Risk/Ops Manager and as claim account executive, unit manager and senior liability claims adjuster. His areas of expertise include auto, general liability, workers compensation and products claims consulting, coverage advocacy, and risk management trending analysis. He has created and presented claim training seminars for clients and internal employees.
