Biography
Kristian M. Cross is an Irmo, South Carolina native. She graduated cum laude with departmental honors from Clemson University in 2004. She earned her Juris Doctor Degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2007.
Kristian practices in the areas of workers’ compensation and employment law. She manages and defends cases through all stages of the workers’ compensation process, from the initial determination of compensability through settlement. Additionally, Kristian litigates cases at the hearing level and at various stages of appeal, including appeals to the South Carolina Supreme Court. She regularly teaches seminars and educational courses to the South Carolina Bar, insurance companies, third party administrators, and self-insured companies on risk management, workers’ compensation laws, regulations and practices, as well as, state and federal laws related to employment law.
