Yosha DeLong

Biography

Yosha R. DeLong is the Global Head of Cyber Underwriting at Mosaic Insurance Company where she is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the cyber line of business on a global basis. In this position since 2021, she leads the development of Mosaic's cyber risk efforts and is also accountable for the underwriting and performance of the cyber portfolio through underwriting strategy and governance; product development; risk selection; and pricing. She has more than 26 years' experience in the insurance industry, having worked as both an underwriter and broker. DeLong is a key contributor to the public sector dialogue around cyber insurance. She participated in classified discussions on cyber threats to the US public sector with the White House in 2018 and round table discussions on cyber needs with the US Chamber of Commerce. She co-chaired the 2018 Advisen Cyber Risk Insights Conference as has been a speaker and panelist at numerous cyber industry events. DeLong was nominated as the Advisen Cyber Person of the Year 2019 and 2020 and her team was nominated as the Business Insurance Cyber Underwriting Team of the Year 2019. Her Mosaic underwriting team was awarded Cyber Newcomer of the Year 2022 by Advisen. She has been named by Business Insurance in their 2019 Women to Watch. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Washington.
