Biography

Angela Cabado brings a unique perspective to risk management through her focus on the human factors behind claim outcomes. As Director of Insurance & Risk Management for a global hospitality company, she oversees complex claims operations while pioneering technology solutions that bridge traditional risk management with modern analytics. Her approach has delivered measurable results in reducing severity in casualty claims and with creating modernization programs to foster cross-departmental collaboration and improve captive financial results. 

Angela serves on CLM's Young Professional Advisory Board, Corporate Connect and Professional Skills Sub-Committee while co-hosting the "Beyond Policy" podcast. She's an often requested speaker on topics ranging from cognitive bias in claims to gun violence risk management and data analytics. She is also a member of RIMS, RISE Professionals, and PRMIA. She was recognized in 2024 as a CLM Phenom Under 40 and Young Professional of the Year nominee.

She is passionate about mentoring other young professionals and believes the future of claims management lies in combining advanced analytics and emerging technology with genuine human understanding of what drives outcomes.
