Biography

Darryl A. Wilson is an in-house litigator managing global litigation and investigations at Tyson Foods, Inc. His primary focus at Tyson Foods is COVID-19, Antitrust, and E-Discovery matters. He has prior experience litigating matters in the areas of premises liability, products liability, mass tort/class action, labor and employment, and general civil litigation claims. Darryl received his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2014 and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Tougaloo College in 2011. He is an active member of the Mississippi Bar, Tennessee Bar, and American Bar Association. Currently, Darryl serves as the Director of the American Bar Association’s YLD Diversity and Inclusion Team and a member of the YLD’s Resolutions Team and Credentials Board. He is also the Chair of the American Bar Association’s Legal Opportunity Scholarship Committee. Outside the YLD, Darryl is a member of the Tort Trial and Insurance Practice (TIPS) and Litigation Sections. In TIPS, Darryl is a member of the Corporate Counsel and In-House Professionals Committee and Outreach to Young Lawyers Committee. Darryl also serves as the co-host to the Litigation Section’s podcast, Litigation Radio.  Inside the Mississippi Bar, Darryl is a graduate of The Mississippi Bar’s Leadership Forum Class of 2020. Civically, Darryl is an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. Darryl has been named to the Best Lawyers “Ones to Watch” (2021), American Bar Association “On the Rise” Top 40 Young Lawyers (2020), National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 (2020), named as a State Farm “Rising Star” (2019), recognized in Mid-South Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” (2018-present), and was named to the Tougaloo College 40 Under 40 (2017).
