Susan Chapman

Biography

Susan Chapman has 35 years of experience in the insurance industry.  She started her career with the General Adjustment Bureau in Florida and later relocated to Denver, Colorado to join the staff of GAB’s National Training Center.  Susan practiced law with a defense firm until she was recruited to serve as the Claims Manager for the Denver Regional Transportation District.  Since January 1988, Susan has been with AIG.  Susan worked as a Legal Auditor for over 20 years.  Susan was instrumental in refining the systems and procedures for Lexington’s new initiative on centralized bill review.  In July 200, AIG appointed Susan the Director of the Billing Review Unit.  In her role as director, Susan oversees the review and adjustment of invoices and monitors billing issues and appeals.

Susan graduated from both the University of Florida and the New England School of Law. She has an ARM designation and is a member of the Council on Litigation Management. She is married and has two children. In addition to enjoying time with her family, she is an accomplished potter.
