Brian Kuhn

Biography

Brian has more than 20 years of experience in handling all facets of construction disputes in both the insurance industry and in private practice. Brian is the Director, Subcontractor Default Insurance Claims, for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Prior to his current role, he was Senior Surety Claims Counsel for Liberty Mutual for over 10 years where he handled payment, performance, and other surety bond claims of varying complexity.  He began his professional career representing contractors and subcontractors while in private practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Brian earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh and his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.   He also earned his Master of Business Administration from Indiana University.   Brian holds the CPCU and AFSB professional designations and is a licensed attorney and property and casualty claims adjuster.
