Biography

Mr. John V. Petrycki, Jr. is a graduate of Gettysburg College where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with honors in 1991. He graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law with his Juris Doctorate in 1994. Mr. Petrycki is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Petrycki is a member of Mayfield, Turner, O'Mara, & Donnelly, where he has practiced since 2002.  Prior to joining his current firm, he was an associate for eight years with the law firm of Fitzpatrick, Reilly, Supple & Gaul in New Providence, New Jersey.  His current practice is focused on the defense of litigated matters for self-insured clients and insurance carriers in both state and federal courts in cases involving premises liability, construction site accidents, property damage, employment, toxic torts, general negligence, and appellate practice.  He has also served as a arbitrator for Uninsured/Underinsured claims.

Mr. Petrycki is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Camden County Bar Association. He was a member of the Supreme Court of New Jersey District IV Ethics Committee from 2008-2011 as well as Barrister in the Worrell F. Mountain Inns of Court in 2001-2002. He has also presented various seminars to clients on insurance coverage issues, contractual indemnity claims, verbal threshold issues for commercial clients, and other motor vehicle related topics.
