Harold L. “Lou” Tabor, Esq. 

Casualty Claims Manager for Saia Motor Freight Line, LLC

Lou is a lifelong resident of South Louisiana.  In 1975 Lou graduated from Nicholls State University with a B.A. in Communication Arts. While working full-time as a claims adjuster Lou earned a J.D. in Civil Law (class of ’89) at Loyola University, New Orleans School of Law and he has been admitted to the bar since 1990.

Lou has been with Saia Motor Freight Line, LLC since 2000.  At Saia, Lou directs or supervises the adjustment of casualty claims and casualty litigation working with a staff of internal adjusters or a third party administrator.  For serious accidents Lou is on call 24/7 and he directs the initial response to accidents by coordinating the activities of independent adjusters and accident reconstruction experts with local counsel. Lou’s territory covers the 34 states in which Saia has operations.

For ten years prior to joining Saia Lou managed litigated casualty and auto claims first at Travelers and then at Progressive. Prior to focusing on litigation management Lou adjusted or supervised property claims at Travelers, Crawford, First of Georgia and Republic Insurance Group.
