Biography
Mr. Peters is Vice President over the Green Buildings practice group of Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc., an international forensics engineering company. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and is a Leadership in Environmental and Engineering Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) with nearly 30 years of engineering and management experience. He has worked as a design project engineer and project manager on various mechanical and electrical system projects; and facility manager and owner’s representative overseeing over $100 million dollars in construction projects. He has investigated and/or testified in over 1,500 construction, product liability, maintenance, and design defect disputes. He presents seminars regularly for insurance adjusters, attorneys, and the public, on various topics including air conditioning, mold growth, building science, construction defects, and green buildings.
