Karen Dunning

Biography

Karen has held many leadership roles at Motorola over the past 24 years. A majority of those years were spent leading strategy and business planning as well as product and technology licensing for global marketing and engineering product teams. Karen joined the Motorola legal department 5 years ago developing and leading legal operations bringing together the General Law and Intellectual Property disciplines.

Karen brings a fresh perspective to legal operations by bringing strong strategic and business planning skills and applying that framework to tools, processes and performance. Karen has utilized her business acumen, analytical skills and creativity to take complex legal information and translate this legal data into actionable understandable information for Motorola’s senior leadership.

Karen’s educational background includes an MBA and an undergraduate degree in Finance with a minor in Computer Science. Her hobbies include walking, woodworking and golfing. In 1983, Karen won the Palm Beach County Women’s amateur golf tournament.
