Biography

Ashley M. Mattingly is a Partner at Butler and practices in the area of Construction Defect Litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Ashley served indigent Hillsborough County residents as an Assistant Public Defender for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit handling thousands of cases and litigating over thirty trials. Ashley earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University of South Florida in 2010, where she was also a member of the University of South Florida Honors College.  She earned her Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University School of Law in Valparaiso, Indiana in 2013. During law school, Ashley focused on Litigation and Trial Advocacy while also serving as a member of the Valparaiso University Criminal Law Clinic.
