Biography

Lee Thunberg is the Senior Complex Claims Director of Architects & Engineers Professional Liability Claims at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance.  Lee has over 20 years of experience in defending  construction and design liability claims as a litigator licensed in California, Florida, and Massachusetts as and in a professional claims capacity.  She was previously a partner at the law firm of Wood, Smith, Henning & Berman where her practice focused on the defense of General Contractors and Developers in complex construction litigation.  Lee later moved to the Parsons Corporation where she managed large scale infrastructure bids/proposals and contracts for international design projects.  More recently, Lee worked at the law firm Donovan Hatem where she represented architects, engineers and other design professionals and provided risk management services as Claims Management Counsel.  For the last several years Lee was a Complex Claims Director at AIG in the A&E Claims group before joining BHSI in December 2021.  Lee received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland majoring in Psychology, an M.S. in International Relations from Troy University, and her law degree from Southwestern Law School.
