Biography

Kathleen (Katie) Crowe is a Client Executive in Marsh’s Energy & Power specialty practice, a global commercial brokerage team that delivers risk financing solutions to the largest energy clients in the world. She currently serves as a Client Executive and is responsible for leading account service teams through renewal strategy and marketing cycles, working with clients to identify emerging risk challenges, introducing the appropriate Marsh McLennan resources to solve those challenges, and ensuring client expectations are being met through consistent, transparent dialogue. Katie has extensive experience working with large, complex multinational clients both in energy and in other key industry verticals.

Experience
Katie joined Marsh in September of 2021. She brings to the team over 10 years of experience; in the energy sector, having started her career at AES, she managed the AES Global Insurance Captive [AGIC]. She was responsible for a global property schedule of over $80Bn of generation and utility assets, in the captive underwriting and execution of reinsurance. She then spent six years at Aon where she handled large, complex accounts in the Washington, DC office. This created a focus on reorganization, documentation of key processes and mapping of essential contacts within the companies. Communication continues to be one of her strongest skills as she continues to assist organizations working through personnel and organizational changes.
Katie is an accomplished insurance professional with a passion for service to others. She co-founded the RIMS Rising Risk Professionals Advisory Group in 2016 and served as the group’s Chair from 2016-2020. She has served as a Board Member of the Potomac RIMS Chapter since 2018. Katie was selected as a Power Broker® by Risk & Insurance® Magazine in 2018, 2019 & 2021. In 2021, Katie co-founded and continues to co-host The Voices of Risk Management Podcast, sponsored by The Institutes.
