Grier Dienstag

Biography

Grier leads McKinsey & Company’s Private Equity Insurance Joint Venture in North America. She is a Partner based in Maine.
 
She serves leading life and property and casualty (P&C) insurance carriers on topics ranging from M&A and strategy to productivity. She also serves investors and their portfolio companies on all stages of the deal lifecycle, from due diligence to transformation to exit.

Grier is passionate about insurance distribution and energized by both the innovation occurring in the industry and the levels of investment flowing into it.
 
She holds an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School. She also earned her A.B. magna cum laude from Harvard College, where she was elected Phi Beta Kappa.  Grier lives on the coast of Maine with her husband, two children, and labradoodle. She loves spending time with family on the water, skiing, golfing, and cheering on their favorite sports teams.
