Biography

Steven P. Popelsky, J.D., ARMSteven P. Popelsky is Assistant Vice President, Claims Legal Department for Motorists Insurance Group in Columbus, Ohio. He heads the legal department and supervises the company's staff attorneys. The departmentsupervises litigation filed against Motorists or its affiliated companies and their respective policyholders. Mr. Popelsky sits on regularly convened panels to decide significant issues in damages, coverage and SIU evaluation. His duties include management of the Group's litigation policy and billing systems. He has presented at seminars for DRI, OACTA and the Ohio State Bar Association on effective communication between insurers and counsel.
