Lauren Navarro

Biography

Lauren Navarro is a Partner at Dentons US LLP whose practice is dedicated to counseling and representing insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and brokers in complex insurance coverage matters. She advises clients on high-exposure coverage disputes, bad faith and extra-contractual claims, multi-party and multi-insurer losses, and litigation strategy. Lauren also regularly litigates coverage disputes in state and federal courts and serves as national coordinating counsel for complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.

Lauren has extensive experience advising clients on coverage issues arising from a broad range of underlying claims and exposures, including:

  -Additional insured and contractual risk transfer disputes
  -Energy and oil and gas operations
  -Financial institution liability
  -Workers' compensation and employer liability
  -Educator liability
  -Sexual abuse and molestation claims
  -Commercial auto and transportation liability

Lauren earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and her Juris Doctor through the accelerated six-year law program at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Before joining Dentons, she practiced at another firm where she worked exclusively on Missouri insurance coverage disputes. She also served as a law clerk in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
